The Bus Guiding System application for bus interchange improvised traffic flow and assists bus captain at ease finding available bays for passenger to alight in the shortest time and spending less travel time and distance looking for available bay.

It provides real time information and statistic reports to help optimise day to day operations and future planning for new interchange.

Ground sensors are deployed on open ground embedded on each of every bus bay.Swift transmission of data from node to node by wireless technology.Bus captains were informed in advance the location and bays available by displaying on LED display panel before the alighting bays and parking zones.

BUKIT PANJANG BUS INTERCHANGE

The Traffic Management System TMS is to enhance safety by detecting movement of buses and increasing bus captains visual awareness of bus movements in the parking area.

The TMS adopts Sensing & Radar technologies for detecting movement of buses on Parking bays and driveway.

A new traffic management system was implemented on September 2017 at Bukit Panjang Integrated Transport Hub.The purpose is to enhance safety by detecting the movement of vehicles and increasing bus drivers visual awareness of bus movement in the parking area.As we are conscious that Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange is compact and its operation is critical, a reliable and precise technology and component is the key ingredient to the development of a robust system to serve and provide safety to the bus captains and protect assets.
